This story has not the length I wanted for my second go, but I never realised how difficult it is to find stories with more then 11000 words. So I have one with only 9099 words.
G is for Grapevine by Brenda Antrim
It's said in the grapevine that our lads nursemaid one another very often and that they nearer then near (if you know what I mean). And we all know that the rumours you hear over the grapevine someday become true. Even that it sometimes takes some month or even a year.

And I think I have to cut down the word count for my second go. Maybe it should only be over 9000 words. *g*
