Crocheted fox finished

Yeah, yesterday I finished a small crocheted fox. It is made of embroidery floss.

His name is Felix Fuchs and he is less than two inches tall. In centimeter he is 4,5 cm without the ears and with ears 5 cm. So with his ears he is incredible 2 inches tall..









The glass should serve to get an idea of his "size".

That is so cute! It must have been so fiddly to work with embroidery floss as it's so fine. I can crochet, but only in chains so I am totally impressed by your craft work! :)

Thank you so much! Yes, it was very fiddly and more than once I wanted to throw it in the dust bin. But it should be a good luck charm for my father and so I had to finish it.

This is very cool. He's so cute :) You must have used a really small hook! I also like to crochet, but usually with a big hook and thick wool so it goes faster... At the moment I'm making a tartan blanket.

Yes, it was a very small hook. It is size 1. Usually you use it to crochet laces around your handkerchief.

A tartan blanket sounds good. Many, many years ago I tried to do a blanket but it never come to an end. I don't know where the pices are now.

Thank you! Yes, there will be a zoo of little forest creatures. My sister got an owl for christmas. It is really a nice hobby to make this little creatures.

Danke schön! Ja, er ist irgendwie pfiffig geworden. Ich bin zwar nicht so ganz zufrieden mit ihm, aber dafür, dass er mein erster Fuchs wurde.... :-)
Aber es ist schon ganz schön anstrengend und geht auf Finger so etwas kleines zu machen.
