W is for Wish I Wasn't Here by M. Fae Glasgow

What's to say about this story? A hurt and depressed Bodie is alone at the seaside. But why? Where is Doyle? Bodie remembers the last day he saw Doyle. Bodie was fresh out of hospital (against doctors order) and both of them got a call from Cowley. And there they got a shock when he told them (not in plain words but in hints) that he had the feeling that they were more than good friends and mates. And in a very clear way he threatens them. And so it ended even before it has begun.

But Bodie misses Doyle and writes him a postcard on which he writes "Wish I wasn't here". And some days later Doyle is there and it happens what Cowley always suspected.

I love that the story has a happy end.
