Zoo (no lads today)

Since I have to take some leave (worked too much and have far too many overtime hours) I used this wonderful day to visit a zoo. Do you like to come with me? Here we go.

We got a very friendly welcome





After the welcome, there were some vibrantly coloured flamingos



They really sparkled in the sun



We went to see the elephants




Miss Daisy was very hungry.



We saw a Cuba iguana (only one, don't know why)



and colourful corals



The colobus monkeys have a baby.....



and its mother is very protective



He's the chief of the zoo (or at least he thinks so *g*)



The crested pigeon breeds



and the Nandu dances





The sea lions are waiting to be fed



The Bennett kangaroo has offspring (you can see its face as it peeks out of its mother's pouch.




And one of the Katta ladies also became a mother



It was a wonderful day, very relaxing. I love the zoo. You can see so many different animals there.
