Ok, I thought the second GO of my Prosfic-Bingo Alpha-fic reading should be a long stories challenge. All stories should at least have more than 11000 words. I've read two during my holiday (and two German books too). And I'll try to read them in alphabetical order this time (might be tricky, but I'll try.)
So, here are my first two stories.

A is for Angels Unaware by Bardicvoice
It's a wonderfully written h/c Bodie story with really great secondary characters. It is about an undercover op gone wrong and about the help our lads get from Joe Public. In this case Joe Public are Lizi and Ellery Stoner, a couple who run a horse farm. They help our lads with their op. I like this story because we have the h/c piece and a case piece and friendship and trust. And it fits my "long story challenge" with 29702 words.
B is for Balanced on the Edge of Autumn by
merentha13
Summary: Fast approaching forty, Doyle is questioning his fitness. A series of missteps on the job brings home the thought that he might be forced off the streets. When Confusion about his relationship with Bodie adds to his worries, Doyle decides he needs to seriously consider his, and their, future.
When I first read it I thought "Oi, Bodie has a very good night's sleep and why isn't Doyle at his side" and my second thought was "Hey, what's happening here? Bodie should have been woken up by now. Certainly, Ray would kiss him awake." But then we went back to another day and I was drawn into the story. I wanted to know if they would be happy with their newfound relationship and what would be with their work. And I really couldn't stop reading. Wordcount: 15340
