Story summary: Doyle wakes up in a warehouse to find himself injured, suffering from amnesia, and apparently involved in a bombing plot with a man named Foster. He soon meets Williams--a tall, dark, beautiful (and engagingly modest) mercenary arms dealer. Doyle tries to find out who he is, what's going on, and why he instinctively trusts Williams, even though he clearly shouldn't.
It is a Doyle-has-amnesia-Doyle-h/c-both-are-undercover story. So it hits three of three reasons for me to read it. And I really wasn't disappointed. In the beginning, we're almost in the same situation as Doyle. We don't know what happened or why it happened. All we know is that Doyle or better Duncan has a head injury and amnesia. He doesn't know anything. Not his name, not why he is where he is and not what is expected of him. But soon we all get to know that he should build bombs. And even though he has amnesia his hands work as if they remember what to do.
But it comes like it has to come. He blows his cover and the mercenary arms dealer blows his as well. And if you want to know what happens when it is out in the open that they are CI5 .... go and read it. :-)
