On Monday we went to visit another of the old churches. This one was from 1530 and had a priest since then.

The pulpit

and the organ

And a model of the cutter Adelheid, which sank off Greenland in 1848. Most of the crew died there. The crew came from the local area, so the sailors are commemorated there.

And of course there were Lilacs

and Gladioli

And a relaxing place

That was the Monday. And today we went on a boat trip, with the Jens Albers. You can look under the cut if you like and you will see what we saw.

Okay, I cheated. First you can see what we found on our little tour through the village.

But now we're on the boat. And we saw the first German LNG-Terminal. It is a big container ship which is stationed in front of Wilhelmshaven.

And we saw a military ship

And we saw a beacon light. It's called Hooksiel Plate and works on automatic.

And we saw a few seals, but the protection zone is currently extended because they are having pups. So I couldn't take some photos

But I have a picture of two funny jackdaws

I hope you had fun to come with me to this places and you enjoyed the photos. If it is to much please let me know and I'll stopp.
