I've finishes my latest handiwork. Crocheted sponges in form of a flip flop. My sister wanted some and now she'll get them as a birthday present.
It was fun to make them.

So, when you say sponges, do you mean wash-clothes, or is there actually some kind of sponge inside? I'm fascinated!

No, there isn't a sponge inside. You make front and back of the sponge and chrochet them together and then they are ready to be used for cleaning your dishes. You can also use them as wash-clothes. Yeah, it's a coll idea, isn't? I hope she'll like them but since she love flipflops and handmade things I think it will work. Thank you for liking it. :-)

Thank you. Yes, they are very practical. And you can wash them in the washing machine when the smell or look ugly after use.
