Date: 2019-06-16 10:53 pm (UTC)My first eps were recordings on old PAL tapes, and there was a close-up in The Rack which left no doubt of the beautiful green eyes.
Then the first DVDs - green but less vivid.
Second DVD's same but lesser vivid.
Then people who had the latest version started saying blue, and the Rhodes series seemed to bear them out.
He did describe them as green somewhere.
I wonder if it's an age-related change? Or contacts at some point?
Doyle will always be green-eyed to me, and thanks for the lovely pics!

Date: 2019-06-20 08:49 pm (UTC)When I first saw The Professionals his eyes were green and when I got the German DVDs the were more like grey-green.
I think I should look some of his other series and watch what colour his eyes have, but for me his eyes are always green.
Oh, and I could read his biography, maybe they say something there.
And thank you for loving the pics.

Date: 2019-06-19 02:25 am (UTC)Sorry to be late here. Work has been horrible - even had to go in on the weekend. But you've posted some lovely sets of pictures (these and the Friday lads, too!) making the days seem a bit better :-) Thank you!
