Yesterday we went to Jever and visited the castle museum. It's a nice little castle with much interior.

The view down the main stairwell

And the view up to the rook, 105 steps up in darkness

But there were nice things too.

A shoemaker's workshop

Main livingroom

Fireplace in the kitchen

You could see some old clothes
Christening robes

Women caps with golden threads

Fans

Andother clothes or pieces like shoes and jackets

That's it for now, more later. The sun came outand I have to go outside. :-)

And I think you love the fans, don't you?
And it's very nice that you are allowed to take pictures! :-)

Outside the castle there were peacocks and the had a child. It looked like it's mother, only in small. But this pictures are taken with another camera, so I can't show them at the moment.

Great shots, especially looking upstairs into the dark.
