Once again I would love to invite you to visit my garden and I hope you come and relaxe with me.

Today we were greeted by a frog who didn't have any fear and stayed where he was.

The Brugmansia

One gladiolus

The Sweet Pea (Lathyrus odoratus)

Our water lily in yellow and pink (they're under a net so that our fishes are safe)

The Snapdragon

Have some dahlia (really small this year)

Three colours in our Hibscus

White

Blue

And sort of pink

And sometimes I think that I really should go to the market and sell some of the food that grows in our garden. But never the pumpkin. *gg*

This year we have lots of raspberries

And even more blackberries (and they taste like I remembere from my childhood)

Lots and lots of apples

Plums (not ready now)

Zucchini and beans

And fresh peppermint, which smells really nice

I hope you enjoyed the trip around my garden. I'm going to relax now and enjoy the sun and a light breeze.

Wow, what a lovely garden! I love gladiolus and hibiscus, though I was ever only able to grow red hibiscus back home (winter's are too cold out here to even try.) And dahlias! I love dahlias. I am able to grow those here, so I have several on our deck, which is about the only place in the back yard that gets enough sun.

We have three apple trees but the bugs get most of the apples before we do. Do you spray yours?

Thank you very much for the compliment. When we got the garden in 1998 we had only a blue hibiscus and I really don't know where the other colours are from. We have not planted any extra, but have not uprooted the wild ones.

We have only one very old apple tree. Every year when it is in full bloom we spray the tree with linseed oil. It keeps the beetles and codling moths from laying eggs in the flowers. But it is completely non-toxic and bee-friendly. Maybe that could help you too with your three trees.
