Holiday at home = Holiday in the garden

Since I didn't go away for my holiday I have holiday in my garden. And there are some things that changed from your last visit to now.

For example we had our vegetables under protectiv covers.



And now I've built a protection shelter out of reeds and net, so that they have sun and air and rain.





Our beans are growing nicely



and the peas too



Even our potatoes started to flower



When you walk past the jasemine, you immediately have the scent of perfume in your nose.



The poppy blooms more and more



And the roses too







This rose is a miracle because last year we had to cut it down and we thought she would die. But she's a tough one. :-)





We even have a gaming table in our garden. *lol*



And this goose is the home for a small mice.





Some allium





Some other flowers











And I think we'll have lots of Blackberries this year





Last for today is our Lemon Thyme



I hope I don't bore you with my garden and that you enjoyed the tour today. The next entry will be the start for my second Alphabet Pros-fic Bingo. :-)

Your garden could *never* be boring! For example I've never even heard of lemon thyme so I, for one, learn something from your pictures. (I love the look of the thyme, too.) All the flowers are beautiful, especially the blue ones towards the bottom. Thank you again for sharing your idyll.

Thank you very much, I'm so happy you like my garden. Well, I don't know for real if lemon thyme is the English name, but it is a mix between Thymus pulegioides × Thymus vulgaris. Its scent is like a light citronella light.

The blue ones are Calibrachoa Calibrachoa via Wikipedia. They're from last year and the plant seller told us that they would only live for one year. If he only could see them now. *g*

Certainly never boring! I love looking at gardens, especially when they are so well cared for and with such an amazing variety of herbs, crops, flowers and berries. Well done!
