What should I say? Don't read it if you have places to be or things to do. You won't have the time until you've finished this story. IT IS GREAT!
Summary: Someone wants Doyle. Wants him very badly and he's in a position to make it happen. Bodie's never been known to follow the rules, or the law for that matter and if it means saving his partner, he'll break every one.
This story is a case story par excellence. We have Doyle who gets drugged and is suspected of murder. We have Bill Haydon who helps the unknown bad guy to hurt Doyle in prison. We have Bodie who pulls all strings to get Doyle out of prison. And we have a very great written Marty Martell who has to help our lads. He isn't too happy but since he fancies not only Bodie but Doyle too he does as he is asked and helps them to hide. The "only" problem is that Bill Haydon has made a junkie out of Doyle. And they have to fight the addiction. And they have to fight against MI6 too.
In the end, they win and we have two injured agents. But they are alive and that is what counts. It is a case fic, but a h/c fic also. And it really could have been a filmed episode. I like Marty and his unrequited "love" for Bodie and Doyle. He's the tough gunrunner with very deep feelings. But he is good at hiding them.
I love how the author shows how deep the friendship and trust between our lads is. And how deep the trust between Bodie and Marty is. I think Bodie knows about Marty's feelings and uses them to his benefit. But that would be a good twist in any episode. So I say, go and read it if you haven't. It is a great story and it's already on my re-read-list. :-)
