I've always wondered what the boys thought about the whole prisoner release operation. They weren't prepared for the attack with the gas, but they could have guessed that Mr Cowley knew about it. And then it occurred to me that they must not have been very pleased. When I watched the episode again the other day, I stumbled across this scene.

And I think Bodie shows very impressively what he thought of the action. Ok, you can also see the raised ring finger next to the middle finger, but I'm sure the ring finger is just camouflage. What do you think?

I would have thought it was a reflex thing (his finger) because one of the first things he does when coming round is apologise to his boss, my eyes are always locked on to his shirt riding up in this scene, that glimpse of his belly yum , sorry i am drifting off again *g*

Oh yes, I can understand that you're drifting away. Looking at his gelly is much better than looking at his fingers. *g* And I know you're right, it is a reflex thing. But I love the thought of him showing his kiddle finger tomCowley.

Thank you for stopping and commenting

Oh, of course you're right about "who looks at his fingers when you can see his belly?" I was searching for images I can use for my BB stories, so I had to look for something else.

Thanks for your comment.

A less glib response. In the car after this scene, Bodie seems less than pleased with Cowley's overcomplicated plot. He's just staring the man down. I do think it's plausible that his initial reaction to Cowley reviving him, with such dutiful care and devotion, could be "What the hell, man!" He could very well have had an instinctual finger reaction that long training quickly tempered with the additional fingers. If I read or saw a visual with this interpretation — I'd buy it.

LOL! I love your interpretation of this image! I wonder what gestures we'd see if we looked at Doyle's reaction to Cowley's attempt to revive him?!

Well, it seems possible for me. I'll have to go and take a look at Doyle's reaction and will come back when I find something.

Thanks for looking.
