Dedicating a rose
Oct. 3rd, 2024 08:12 pmA friend sent me a link to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which creates an illuminated rose garden every year in memory of relatives and friends who have died from cancer. You can dedicate a rose for 10 pounds and for me, it is a nice way to remember friends like PFL and Dawnbeth, MLMead and Minori. And both my uncles I lost because of lung cancer.
If anyone wants to take a look, the images of this garden look great. https://www.royalmarsden.org/

Date: 2024-10-09 06:06 pm (UTC)Thank you. It was hard when they passed away. One of my uncles died on his birthday. :-(
I love the thought of a rose with a plate with their names on it.
