My Garden 2025
May. 10th, 2025 08:11 pmSpring feels like summer, and I like to invite you into my garden.
I had to cut some smaller branches in our apple tree (the long blue pole on the tree is a kind of scissors that can be extended and used to cut high up without a ladder) and my hat kept falling off. So I hung it in the tree.

Have some flowers under the cut
But we don't just have flowers in our garden, we also have fruit and vegetables
We have kohlrabi and celery

We have chives (ok, it looks like a flower *gg*)

We have potatoes in a potato-tower.

We have apples
and sour cherries (good for cherry cake)

We have wine

and elderflower

Currants in white, red and black

and goosberries

And blooming woodruff

And today we planted courgettes and peppers. And sowed pumpkins.
I hope you enjoyed this little trip to my garden. :-)

Some columbines (we have different colours)

One Peony
a little bluebell
an iris
and roses (I love this one. Don't know the name, but she smells so fine)
An English dog rose
and an English bush rose (it's very old and we thought we lost her last year. We had to cut her down, but she grew greener and healthier than ever.)

Date: 2025-05-12 07:35 pm (UTC)Thank you. It is all a little early this year, because it is quite warm. Unfortunately, our lilacs faded very early this year.
